There’s so much conversation around hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and I wanted to share my personal experience—openly and honestly—because I know so many women are quietly navigating this stage of life.
I’ve been on HRT for a while now. It wasn’t a decision I rushed into, but one I made after really listening to my body and noticing how I was feeling.
Then recently, with our move and running out of my prescription, I decided to come off it for a little while—just to see if I still needed it.
I was curious.
I was open.
And I wanted to trust my body.
But the experience was… eye-opening.
Not long after stopping, I had a migraine that left me in bed for three days. It felt intense, and I could only assume it was part of the withdrawal or my body adjusting.
Then, slowly, other symptoms began to return.
That familiar feeling of anxiety creeping in at night.
Interrupted sleep.
Brain fog that made everything feel just a little bit harder.
And an overall sense of not quite feeling like myself.
It made me reflect on how I felt before starting HRT—and why I chose it in the first place.
Now, if you know me, you’ll know I’m deeply holistic in my approach to health and wellbeing. I truly believe in supporting the body naturally wherever possible—through movement, breath, mindset, and daily rituals.
But I also believe in listening.
And for me, in this season of life, HRT is something that supports me.
Coming off it gave me clarity. It reminded me that while natural practices are incredibly powerful, they can also work alongside other forms of support.
It doesn’t have to be one or the other.
For me, HRT helps me feel more balanced, more rested, more clear… more like myself.
So I’ve chosen to go back on it—and I feel good about that decision.
I share this not to tell anyone what they should do, but simply to open up the conversation.
Every woman’s journey is different.
Every body is different.
And what matters most is finding what supports you.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to aging well.
It’s about tuning in, staying curious, and giving yourself permission to choose what feels right—without judgment.
And for me, right now, this is part of my version of wellbeing.

Life is busy.
We juggle work, family and endless to-do lists, and somewhere along the way self-care often slips to the bottom.
Maybe you’ve noticed your skin looking a little dull, fine lines deepening, or your energy feeling a little drained.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
This is exactly why I created Glow & Go.
Glow & Go is a simple face fitness course designed for real life — giving you visible results in minimal time.
With just five one-minute exercises for five days, you’ll discover simple yet powerful techniques that lift, tone and relax your face and neck, leaving you glowing both inside and out.
Because caring for your face doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes the most powerful changes come from the smallest daily rituals.
And sometimes those rituals are the very things that bring us back to ourselves.
